Study after study shows that using LLMs is bad for cognition, bad for learning, bad for understanding, bad for mental health. So why are our schools and universities still relentlessly pushing them?
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

Good story on the records of those taken during the Chicago raids. Contrary to the administration's claims, few had records or reasons to be arrested.

I know it's not surprising to many of us, but it's important that this type of in depth reporting is done so it's on the record.

Mike Collins (R-GA-10) is hot garbage.
Both parties should support this. Using AI to generate a video of a candidate saying something he didn’t say should be illegal. Especially since many voters think it is real. I will condemn any candidate from either party who does this.

Reviewing for Nature/Science-style articles is so frustrating because all the methods are either completely glossed over or buried in the supplements. I'm not suspicious by nature I just wanna know what the heck statistics actually happened to produce those very fancy multi-panel figures!!!
