It's the PTO moms and spreadsheet dads and other random-ass Minnesotans concerned for their neighbors. There is no one central organizing org, just a ton of people who give a shit. It's both beautiful that it's happening and laughable that anyone thinks there's some broader apparatus at work.
James O'Keefe says he's never seen anything so organized as the anti-ICE movement, observers--he seems to think this term is code--everywhere he goes. Who is paying for it??? he demands to know. It's like he can't even imagine people caring for one another.

I really do think that broadly this is already happening more than we realize because of the palpable uptick in “parental estrangement” apologism op-eds these days. conservatives are not used to experiencing meaningful consequences and are fully crashing out about it. it is landing!!!!
