The concept of telling a worker at Dunkin’ you want an iced black coffee and they ask if you want it hot or cold then ask if you want any cream or sweetener in it…

New S&C routines started today at my gym with the new month, and I did three sets of five pull-ups.

I couldn’t even ever do them when I powerlifted in high school. It felt like an out of body experience to look at my reflection and just do it.

I’m carrying that feel-good energy with me today. 😌

Just remembered when I was like 5, a lunch monitor asked me “what’s the magic word?” before helping me open something. I said “ABRACADABRA!!” with full confidence.

She just went, “No. It’s please.”

Like OK sorry for believing in whimsy, ma’am

The people who schedule a meeting that could’ve been an email and the people who post 20 Instagram stories instead of just making a post have the same energy.

‘TRAP’ isn’t unique.

Did You Know?…

1 in 3 Hollywood blockbusters has been at least partially financed by the Department of Defense.

In fact, each year the Pentagon helps make an average of 7 big-budget movies and 90+ smaller film and TV projects that sensationalize war and policing.

Thinking back to high school when a teacher once put on lo-fi music while kids studied to try and seem like he was with the times. The way this man deflated when someone asked him, “Why are you playing elevator music, bruh?”

A very smart colleague just pointed out the grim truth that the U.S. leaving the WHO may ultimately be a win for the rest of the world. Why? Because without a vote, “the US can't block WHO actions like vaccine programs, disease surveillance, contraception, etc”. Man, that is daaaark, but accurate.

I'm sorry, but don't use TikTok if it comes back.

This is propaganda so severe and in your face that it should not be tolerated in the slightest.

I know how much people like the app. But like Vine and Twitter, alternatives will come.
I’m so pissed off and disgusted. The change was almost immediate

I’m convinced it was all so he could swoop in and look like the savior— but even if he does ‘save’ it, it won’t be the same platform anymore.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS ABSOLUTE CROCK OF SHIT, THE ONLY THING THAT CAN SAVE US IS OUR RAGE.

About this time last year, a family friend made me aware of this app. You can connect it to local library branches. I added listening to audio books to my reading in 2024. In 2023, I read or listened to 29 books. Thanks to Libby, in 2024, I passed my goal of 65 three days ago.

At my airport gate and my luggage AirTag says my suitcase was “left behind.” Mini heart attack ensues. Split second later realize it’s “left behind” because it’s already checked on the plane. Without me.
