An update from Freida Parton so it sounds like Dolly isn't well, but she's not *that* unwell. Still at 79 any illness isn't good so I'm still hoping she's fine because she's clearly got so much to give still and makes the world a better place just by being in it.

On a night of shirt stories this one really got me

From the LL comments:
At the end of my kid’s school day they announced that if the Mariners won tonight, they’d have a non-uniform day tomorrow. Her and her friends all planned to wear their M’s shirts tomorrow.

When the game ended, she went to get her shirt, but was bummed to find out that all of them were too small, so she went to bed thinking she wouldn’t have anything to wear tomorrow. I spent the last 2 hours going all over town, to 4 stores, before finally finding a shirt that should fit her at Target. It’s going to be like Christmas morning tomorrow for her.

So excited to see kids getting to enjoy this special team and season (something parents my age probably never got/don’t remember as kids!)

It was brought to my attention that I wasn’t covered with kittens in the first part of the bottom of the ninth inning. I apologize for this unfortunate occurrence. I picked up a kitten two seconds before the final play.
