Your regular reminder that there is no legal path from martial law to suspending elections in this country.

That doesn't mean there is no path. It just means that we need to reject the framing that the federal government has any legal authority to cease elections.

they didn’t leak it to make the shooter look innocent, but to make the victim look guilty. not guilty of a crime. guilty of having a visibly queer wife. guilty of liberalism. guilty of opposing the regime. they don’t seek to exonerate themselves, only to demonstrate who deserves to die.
In the video that the shooter took, which I believe was leaked to be exculpatory, he appears to yell “fucking bitch” after he shoots Renee Good.

I don't know, @democrats.org. You've got the stock market, SignalGate, Loomer, Social Security being broken, innocent people being kidnapped/deported, CDC and FEMA essentially closed, Trump golfing...

If you can't spend the entire weekend saying "impeachment" I'm not sure what else you need.
Not even a question anymore. Worse than Brexit. Because of the fear and greed of a few dozen Republicans, the world is trapped watching an actual idiot, a provable criminal, a confirmed racist do whatever his broken brain wants while literal Nazis rip through every good system and institution.

I am glad to see this, Martin. But it is not enough. You need to use all the powers of the minority in the Senate to obstruct the dangerous and reckless actions the Trumpist Republicans will attempt
My friend @booker.senate.gov is on hour 14 on the Senator floor to amplify the voices of Americans being harmed by Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

This isn’t business as usual, and we won’t act like it is.

Tune in ⬇️
I’ve taken the Senate floor and will speak for as long as I’m physically able to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed and not being heard in this moment of crisis. Watch here:
