This would have a devastating impact on Title 1 schools like mine. Even with those additional funds we barely have enough to meet the high needs of our students. Also I fantasize daily about breaking a chair over Linda McMahon's head.

Accurate info on the Stonewall riots by a proper queer historian who is as attached to facts as I am. Read his thread.
You're wrong about most of this. Marsha was uptown when the riots started; Sylvia was in Washington Square Park, near Stonewall, where a lot of street queers lived. Both were at the Riots later in the evening, and on the many days they lasted after - Stonewall wasn't a one day event
