The Reform Christian Church:
Its patron saint is of course St. Judas Iscariot.

Let us pray: 🙏🏻
‘Our Nigel, which art in parliament,
Farage be thy Name;
Thy fascism come;
Thy will be done
in Dubai, as it is in Clacton.’

As for that Jesus bloke, he’s a bloody leftard.😤

Weather≠ Climate.
Weather is short-term(days/weeks). Climate is long-term (30+ years).
A cold snap is a weather event.To see the climate trend, scientists analyze decades of global data: rising temperatures, melting ice, and warming oceans.
One chilly week is a data point,not the trend.

The UK is sick. Getting rid of Nigel Farage from frontline politics won’t cure the malaise, but it would be a bloody good start on the road to recovery.

Eight people are on hunger strike, several apparently at imminent risk of dying, because our law punishes more harshly those opposing genocide than those supporting it. (And under a so-called Labour Government.)

How on earth did we get here? www.vashtimedia.com/hunger-strik...
The hunger strikers are in mortal danger. But the conditions they’re being kept in are already critical.
How the government and its prisons ignore strikers' basic rights and demands.

I’m a glass half full sort of person but I am reluctantly coming to the conclusion that the world we have known in the UK and Europe since the end of WW2 is in real and lasting danger.

I’m no historian, politician or @ottoenglish.bsky.social but it feels like we are in a watershed moment.

New Statesman reporting Reform politicians are avoiding head to head debates with me.

Their lies come crumbling down when confronted with the truth.

Let's keep building the movement to take on Reform:

Fantastic news that former Tory MP Ben Bradley has joined Reform. With his history of advocating police violence and suggesting the unemployed be prevented from having children, he will fit right in!

Almost daily someone wants to tell me that I should mind my own business and stay out of US "politics". So almost daily I have to remind them that Trumpism affects global economics, environment and peace. I'll do what every concerned global citizen should do. I'll express my opinion. Loudly.

Tories “won’t go on the record saying Farage is unfit to lead the country, even if they suspect it to be true, because they also suspect they may be propping up his government, or pleading for jobs in it, by the end of the decade”

They never stop letting us down.

Another depressingly tone-deaf performance by Badenoch at #PMQs. Our continent is threatened from East and West, and Kemi wants to talk Westminster gossip. Rarely have I seen anyone as witless, be so pleased with themselves. Truss springs to mind. Johnson. Cameron.

WAIT - I think I see a pattern.

As a Head Teacher I often heard people say, you can’t do this or that because….blah blah.
I hear the same from politicians.

Doing the right thing is not necessarily convenient or easy.
But that is no excuse for not doing it.

Brexit is just wrong
The country is hurting.
Put it right.

The thing I still can't forgive Corbyn for is the generational harm he caused by enabling Brexit. When Starmer is gone, hopefully soon, I will feel the same way about the profound harm he has caused by making it palatable for the Far Right to ditch human rights norms. It will be his shameful legacy.
