I beg y’all. Find other adjectives besides “insane”, “psychotic”, and “crazy” to describe evil times and evil people.
Mental illness is a whole host of disabilities that people manage and live with their entire lives. No need to casually equate it with evil & shocking. They are not the same thing.

One of the problems for this government is that I’m now so used to it ignoring evidence and expert advice in favour ideology, short-term thinking and cost-cutting to fund tax cuts, that on an issue where I should be able to trust it to do the right thing, I absolutely don’t.

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.
