There are only about 14 million unauthorized immigrants in the United States.
There are 53.3 million *total* foreign-born, including permanent residents & naturalized citizens.
But 100 million is close to the exact number of people in the US who identify as nonwhite (95 million).

The major vibe shift between Trump 1.0 and Trump 2.0 is that in the 2010s, companies embraced DEI to signal they weren’t as racist as his government whereas now they abandon DEI to signal to him that they are just as racist as he is.

Google (and possibly reddit?) reached new levels of stupidity. Asking a question about a difference between two Swedish words returns a link to Portuguese reddit where someone asked a question about the same Portuguese words, but the page and results are "helpfully" translated into Swedish.

A masterclass in bad branding.

Unpopular (?) opinion: we should have sympathy for Tesla owners. Our useless news media convinced huge numbers of people this guy was a hero. Not everyone has the luxury of being sufficiently online to chart his descent into Nazism.
"Trapped with a Tesla." It's probably reasonable to assume that many Tesla owners are in this position, with a car they no longer want, but cannot sell.
