I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain

The main thing that kept me on twitter longer than I wanted was that I was afraid I couldn't do fundraising without it. Now I can say confidently that (in my experience) bluesky blows twitter 100% out of the water for fundraising. People actually SEE your posts here - that's kinda important. 🤷♀️
I'm so happy people are having success with their fundraisers here on Bluesky. I'm sure that makes it easier for them to leave The Worst Place, especially now that they're suppressing links.
