Both of the co-founders of Turning Point USA died from things that were preventable, but which they mocked and urged this nation to ignore. Bill Montgomery was killed in 2020 by COVID and Charlie Kirk was killed in 2025 by gun violence.

We were robbed of having an actual President and many chose a criminal piece of shit instead of her. It’ll continue breaking my heart for a long time.

The political result of ending the war in Afghanistan was a wave of negative media coverage Biden never recovered from, while much of the alleged "anti-war left" just refuses to acknowledge that it even happened. The incentives for the next Democratic president are not good!

One of the biggest lessons from Syria is that, just a month ago, almost no one could have predicted the Assad regime would fall today. The "realities on the ground" crowd would have denied such a possibility. A reminder of why people in Ukraine fight rather than surrender.

And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

The state of media for Americans is so completely broken
I want to watch TV coverage of the live fall of the Syrian regime.

CNN is airing a Giuliani documentary, Fox News has a comedian joking about Canada, MSNBC a documentary about migrants

So I turned on BBC,which is breathlessly switching between Syria, South Korea demonstrations, and Ghana election

Assad falling is no guarantee of a better Syria replacing him, but his continued rule is a guarantee that a better Syria couldn’t

Now that barrier is gone and I hope against hope that Syrians - the ones whose country it is - finally get to live free

let people enjoy the fall of a murderous demon who used chemical weapons on children for five fucking minutes
On Twitter a ton of accounts are just angrily replying and quote tweeting anyone happy that Assad fell as if we’re not extremely aware that rebels are a mixed bag and he may get replaced with a regime as bad or worse

Guys, most people know this *and* can be glad Assad’s regime collapsed
