I'm not a liberal. I'm definitely not a neo-liberal, or a conservative, or a neo-con. I'm not an anarchist, a capitalist, or even a socialist, though I have come closer to that definition a few times. I guess I'm an idealist, because my opinion on most issues is determined by my core beliefs.
"Why" is a powerful tool in fighting creeping fascism among your friends and family. When someone parrots a right wing talking point, ask.tj.why they think it's a good idea, and don't let them idk the answer. Push them to think it through.

In America last year, nearly 40 million workers made less than $17 an hour. Unacceptable.
Nobody in America can make it on $7.25 an hour, $9 an hour or $12 an hour.
We need an economy in which all of our workers earn a living wage.
