I don't think the early Fallouts are perfect but Fallout 2's decision to have your people be tribals feels cooler than "Vault Dweller #200" and has some choice reactions to people treating you like a subhuman for not squatting bombed out ruins (i.e. the main aesthetic of the series after Tactics)

I just realized the "MAHA approved" formula for a bunch of sugary garbage just adds cane sugar and it's actually fucking hilarious. Honestly I get the early abolitionists who wanted to completely ban sugar. Absolute blood-soaked poison.

This should have been killed immediately after the tories left power and I will always find it had to believe Freeland had nothing to do for why it wasn't. It's been known for years that the list of names included banderites and other fascists

I keep seeing this and while this is absolutely, utterly horrifying to me (I'm not a night owl because I want it to be daytime 2.0) how much of this is real though
I have no idea if I'm light pollution on the street is worsening (Montreal's had really horrible light pollution since I was a kid tbh) or I'm just getting more light sensitive but good grief sometimes it feels like it's daytime at 4am and I find this maddening.

Fun thing last night, usually when people switch languages with me because I don't seem to understand they go to english first, not spanish (ended up doing by BA by buying that guy a cup of coffee)

It's sort of funny that to a slight extent dress reform (at least in France) had a minor RETVRN element in that it brought back the (admittedly modern) empire waist at a time when it had been seen as so indecent that paintings of the Napoleonic era would rather use any other cut for women than that

I swear everytime I try to mess with sleep schedules to be mildly functional during daytime it just hard resets after a day or two leaving me as nocturnal as ever but also sleep deprived as hell.
