U.S. Northern Command says that elements of the Texas national guard are now “employed in the greater Chicago area.”

The statement claims that they’ve been deployed to protect ICE and federal property.

This is partly why the Civil Rights Movement of the 60s was so successful. It’s very difficult to do today when the major networks and social media channels are owned by billionaires actively blocking this content. You’d need some benevolent millionaires and billionaires to own a platform.

This is shameful. How can you believe the science of vaccinations, but not the science on climate? How can you oppose coal mining that will pollute one part of Alberta but be in favor of pipelines that will pollute the entire earth?
