If you care about children, then please protect them from both the flu & COVID by wearing a mask in public and getting your updated vaccines

Elderly people and #immunocompromised adults are also at higher risk of hospitalization and 💀

Please protect us

For other artists: Copy-paste is your friend. I have a folder of alt text for all my pieces on my phone so I don’t have to write them from scratch every time. For my WIP posts I just update the alt text every time I post a progress shot.
A really easy New Year's resolution you can make is to try adding better alt text to your images.

Even if you don't do it 100% of the time, wholeassing alt text on some of your works means accounts like mine will share it!

Tom Kindlon @tomkindlon.bsky.social :

Just the two of us but we get on well together so had a good chat, a lot of which was nothing to do with ME.

Again after 3 PM when the carvery closed, we had the room to ourselves.

Post-holiday crash hit hard. Walked to the end of the driveway for trash cans & now can’t stay upright. This is post-exertional malaise in action: seemingly minor tasks stealing days of function. I wrote about why I can’t just meet for dinner:

Avoid writing text that has every letter alternating between uppercase and lowercase. This is difficult for sighted readers to comprehend, especially users with reading or cognitive disabilities. Screen readers won't know to read this, so it will often be gibberish.

My mother died of Covid complications this year. She not only refused to believe Covid was ‘that serious’ she also refused to mask when people visited her at our home in India.
Anyone anywhere who wants to mock people who mask can fuck all the way off.
Jon Stewart and the pod saves guys mocking people who wear masks while talking about What Is To Be Done is exactly what Jon Stewart and the pod saves guys are, it's the most Jon Stewart and pod saves guys thing possible.

So far, I have dodged 4 infected people (close contact, 2 healthcare workers) within the past week.

They almost sent out a phlebotomist with the flu to draw my pre-surgery labs. 😬

I asked if they could send someone else, because I cannot get sick.

1. I don't want the flu.

2. That would delay

It was reprehensible when people mocked condom usage at the height of the AIDS pandemic.

It is just as depraved to mock those wearing masks to reduce the spread of airborne viruses today.

Whenever someone takes any kind of step to protect public health, they should be applauded, not mocked.
