In celebration of Mamdani's first day in office, the map from our 2016 NYC atlas celebrating Queens as the most linguistically diverse place on earth. (800 languages spoken in NYC, according to NY's Endangered Language Institute, which collaborated with us on this map.

I might be totally wrong on AI, time will tell I guess.
But I think its immediate benefits to small businesses are nowhere near worth its costs in terms of environmental impact and ripping off writers and artists etc.
I just think it's really off that the whole system is pushing it so much here.
