As a Canadian-American, I call DITTO! Also, I think I may love @charlieangus104.Bsky.social - well, he certainly is one Canadian to watch!
Dear Donald
Canada has something called democracy.
It means the leader is accountable to Parliament and can be replaced
I bet Americans wish they had that now.
And convicted sexual abusers don't get to lead our nation.
We're decent folk
Ps. Button up. We're sending frigid cold your way.

1/ Nice tidbit in a supplemental filing from Nauta & De Oliveria, confirming they realize Judge Cannon lacks jurisdiction to bar release of Special Counsel's report. Of course, she never had jurisdiction over the J6 case & can't bar that part, but she dismissed the MAL case & can't act further on it

Happy Christmas Eve, and here’s your reminder that it’s not normal for an American president to talk about taking over territory that belongs to our allies.

Is it worth 20 MINS a day to proactively recruit and bring your friends, neighbors, relatives, businesses, anyone who is or could be a user, to @bsky.app?

If Bluesky ends up with more users than the others, you destabilize musk, zuck, trump.

Ann Telnaes, a Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist at The Washington Post, says her cartoon below was killed by Jeff Bezos, the paper’s owner. Bezos didn’t want the cartoon to become public because it shows him kneeling before Donald Trump.

I have now seen the Ann Telnaes cartoon of Jeff Bezos's supplication before Donald Trump more often today than I've seen any other cartoon during the entire rest of the year.

So, well played, Washington Post.

So, the @Washington post tried to stop the world from seeing a political cartoon critical of its owner, and as a result, they’ve lost tons of subscribers, the incredible cartoonist who drew it quit, and it’s created such an uproar, that WAY more people saw it than otherwise would have.

Brilliant.

Mike Johnson claimed yesterday that he was reading a prayer written by Thomas Jefferson.

Except it wasn't.

Historians who are familiar with it say it’s not accurate to attribute it to Jefferson or to suggest he recited it daily.

Clown. Show.

It sucks our politics are not "how can we help our constituents" and instead are "how can I hurt the other side most?"

It's ALL obstructionist. They are playing war games with our money and our lives and we're supposed to just sit in the stands and cheer for our "team" like we aren't cannon fodder.

Let's talk about Elon's newest "theory," that c-sections lead to greater brain development.

First, there is absolutely no evidence of this. In fact some studies show the opposite: higher rates of brain cell death in c-sections than vaginal birth.
