I'm okay with ineffective CPR in TV and film, because it would be painful to perform proper compressions on the actors. What I'm not okay with is the total lack of attempt to perform CPR on characters who were awake and talking two seconds ago.

Finally out of #whamageddon. Longest I've ever made it by far!

Here's @khoffin.bsky.social reading part of our @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social haul on the way home and giggling. Literally giggling you guys.

As I approach middle age, I have observed that there are two available attitudes. 1. I am halfway to death, it's pointless to start anything new. 2. I am only halfway through life, I have time for at least as many things as I have already done.
Think I'll read this once a week forever.

Patricia Routledge, I love you.

I think it's weird how ubereats etc suggest tips based on order value. They should be based on time spent. 1 minute = 10p, or 1 minute = 20p if they're on a bike in the rain.

On my fifth visit to Whitby, I have finally managed to count exactly 199 steps.

I've been tasked with drawing a children's book written by my Father-in-Law for my nephew. Honestly, the whole thing is so exciting right now. Any tips from anyone who does this would be appreciated!

Lucie Ebrey is one of the sweetest and loveliest humans I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and I wish her nothing but good things in life.
Hello! Tonight I spent over an hour signing 100+ copies of Cowgirls & Dinosaurs at Booka Bookshop because I couldn’t stand the idea of a kid picking up a copy and not getting a unique drawing like their friend did so…

Pancake day is a serious business in our household. By which I mean I demand pancakes for breakfast, lunch, and tea, and @khoffin.bsky.social obliges because he is the BEST.

January brand new purchases. I think I did okay considering it's month one but there's room for improvement. I broke our old lemon squeezer beyond practical repair, a lesson to be more careful with the things I already have. £29.99/£300.

I just think he's neat.
#HourlyComicDay is basically me bringing things I've drawn to my very supportive wife as she lies in on her weekend off. I think next I'll draw a fire truck.

For my new year's resolution, I've decided not to spend more than £300 on brand new items this year, except:
a) consumables, e.g. food or medication, for obvious reasons
b) items needed to repair something I already own
c) comics purchased from the creator at @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social

Peter the elf from Arthur Christmas is, without a doubt, the thirstiest character in any holiday film.

Feels a bit like cheating when Aldi put lemons and limes on Super 6. Nobody has ever got their five a day from lemons.

Not much room in our little flat for a Christmas tree, but that's never stopped us before!

If I had to get whamageddoned, I'm glad it was with you ❤️
Asked Alexa to play Christmas songs and got immediately Whamageddon'd.

Six year old:

“Mama…I heard about this place and I wonder if you’ve ever been there”

“Okay…what place?”

*totally earnest voice filled with quiet awe* “It’s a place called…the 80s. And in that place, if you say the exact same word at the exact same time as someone else you get CURSED with a JINX!”

Apparently Kevin and I are now fully the faces of admiring a toilet comic 😂 Shame they've not used a better picture of some of the wonderful art though...

Picked up a nasty cold at @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social but luckily I also picked up all these cat comics to help me feel better. Clockwise from left: @karlckrumpholz.bsky.social, @limitbreakcomics.bsky.social, Rebecca K Jones, Sharp Txngue.
