Good lord, all those Vertigo books have phenomenal teams and sound incredible. Very cool to see DC investing in creators in such a huge way.

Former Head of Comms for the IEA, Annabel Denham, says the super rich will leave if we have a wealth tax.

Yes, the very same IEA that brought us Liz Truss’ disastrous mini budget. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Green Party leader Zack Polanski explains that their taxable assets can’t leave. #bbcqt

Putting up flags on lampposts is the ultimate act of virtue signalling. A completely hollow gesture that does nothing to make the country greater. You want to promote Britain being great? Spend your time and/or money doing something useful for your community. Except they won't. Lazy feckless goons.

Don't threaten us with a good time, Daily Express.
Image featuring a graphic from the Bradford District Green Party. The background is green with the Daily Express logo in the upper left and a photo of Zack Polanski speaking into a microphone on the right, holding a cartoon-style bundle of cash with a pound sign. Below, a mocked-up newspaper headline reads: “Zack Polanski wants to redistribute our money and turn Britain into a Left-wing haven.” At the bottom, the Green Party logo and web address Join.greenparty.org.uk are displayed.

Just seen a headline which asks "Thatcher was born 100 years ago and her reign feels a lifetime away. Why is her effect on the country still so huge?"

It's because she was a massive bastard. Hope that helps x

Labour have presided over a "doom loop of higher taxes, weaker borders and month after month of chaos" says Kemi Badenoch who was part of a government that raised taxes and immigration levels by record amounts, whilst changing leader no fewer than four times

The Right: We love En-ger-land

Me: Great, so you want to support people studying English literature then?

The Right: No, not like that. We just want an excuse to be awful to everyone else.

Oh, they don't. It's mainly just how you can tell when you're at an ambassador's event or not. In the very rare occasions that they eat one; they get one of the poors to chew it up and then regurgitate it into their open mouths.

I would hate for my indentured servants to learn to read and write and discover literary archetypes that are strongly reflected in modern society to this day

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

Honestly, I would much prefer for this to be the primary reason for Higher Education. The whole 'employability' thing doesn't work anyway. Study your passions.

Learning just because you want to learn, not as the means of getting a career is perfectly acceptable. I loved doing my English Literature degree, it taught me critical thinking, analysis and so much about life. I have no regrets. Those are the things they fear.

You guys must be saving so much money on advertising.

If I have to become an outlaw sociologist, teaching ad hoc students in dark rooms at the backs of pubs cos no institution will employ me to do so...

Kemi, don't threaten me with a good time.

Kemi Badenoch does not want you to study English. At least she is consistent.

It's like they don't want people to know about agenda-setting, or manufactured consent, or how newsworthiness is calculated, or just how much of the media is controlled by so few people.

Badenoch, like all privileged elitists with no business being in politics, hates the idea of an educated population.

Funny how those are the subjects which offer insights into how much we're being fucked every day of our lives, and show us how people live who aren't necessarily like us.

Badenoch and Co see education only as a means to a massive income in some soul destroying career.

Devoid of imagination and the power of knowledge they view life entirely through the prism of the CV.

My advice always is to study what interests you and the rest will follow
