I don’t know how people are just now somehow learning about the reports of her being abusive/terrible to staff (& volunteers — I know some of them). She’s been like this a long time, and as someone sensitive to double standards I’m annoyed people are giving her good faith when she is owed none.

No. It’s because she was rude, unprofessional, awful to work with. You are talking to multiple women in this thread — many of whom live in CA and have followed Porter’s career, all of whom are huge Clinton and Harris supporters and are quick to identify double standards. THIS is not the case w/ KP

Let’s stipulate that this is the case (not really, but ok). Is that the *appropriate* way to treat someone in your employment? Absolutely not. And if you treat your employees like this, shame on you. It is a PATTERN with Porter. The volunteers I know who have worked with her had bad experiences. 👎🏼

1. Why haven’t we paid down a cent of the debt?

2. Why can’t we afford to not fuck millions of people over with expiring insurance subsidies?

3. Why is none of it being used to help the abysmal job market?

You know who she reminded me of? Trump.

She stopped herself from saying this, but she almost said I shouldn’t have to answer this question because I’m better than everyone else. Instead, she said “because I’m me” How do you defend that?

Bray is a historian at Rutgers who received death threats after landing on Turning Points USA's Professor Watchlist. As a result, he announced he was moving to Europe. And then this happened.

This kind of harassment and abuse of scholars is Charlie Kirk's legacy and it's only getting worse.
