I see a lot of people saying that a person charged with a crime deserves the chance to prove their innocence.

Please stop doing this because you have it backwards and this is really important.

It is ALWAYS the government's burden to prove a person guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

I say never because the Civil War involved states whose governments legally ceased to exist, their offices vacated by constructive resignation, with no legitimate governors to object.

Every dollar of profit for the health insurance industry is a dollar spent *on health care that wasn't used *for health care. It's a massive waste, transferring money from ordinary people to shareholders. Other countries don't do this, still cover everyone, and live longer than us. I'm with you.

Evangelical Christians have totally lost the thread by supporting Trump. The mainline Christians still have morality, compassion, and love for the poor and lowly, for refugees and those in need. We know Trump is enacting evil and we’re calling it out.

I just hope Pritzker, Newsom, AOC, Pete, et al. have some private security to defend them when Trump sends his goons to arrest them overnight some day. He’s priming the public to see round-ups of Dems as necessary to stop an insurrection. It’s chilling.

If the right accuse the left of something (terrorist sympathising, communism, antisemitism etc) the media will ask the left to defend themselves from that charge.

If the left accuse the right of something (racism, fascism, colonialism), the media will ask the left to justify that charge.

As a pastor I hate the she wears a cross while spewing out her lies. It's so disgraceful and dishonoring to Christ. But what worries me even more is that she thinks that lying and cheating and using violence is justified for the 'greater good' of her Christian nationalism. That leads to pure evil.
