It was 22 years ago that I unmasked the highest placed spy for British military intelligence inside the IRA

This week, the British state tried to say it was all over

It’s not. Justice will remain denied until the army is forced to reveal exactly what it did

The Chancellor has scrapped the two-child limit, benefitting more than half a million families.

In April 2025, out of families impacted by the limit:

- 6 in 10 had 3 children.
- 6 in 10 had at least one person in work.
- And 6 in 10 are receiving a health or disability benefit.

Not well understood that 6 in 10 families impacted by the two-child limit are in work, and that the vast majority have 3 or 4 children.

only in the small print of this article do they make clear that the pensioners paying an extra £2,500 of tax would have to have
“earnings over £125,140”

I know many pensioners are asset rich but how many have income at that level?

TurboTax makers Intuit have lobbied the government for years to block free public tax-filing.

Now Trump has terminated the free IRS Direct File program, nearly a year after Intuit gave his inauguration $1M.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

There were 115 prisoners mistakenly released in the final year of the last Conservative Government alone.

Interesting that it only becomes a major national scandal the second these releases can be blamed on a Labour government

The world's 10 richest people (nearly all from the U.S.) are collectively $500 billion richer this year thanks to growth in stocks tied to AI.

Meanwhile, data centers are sucking up communities’ water and electricity.

AI is making the rich even richer while everyone else pays the price.

Surreal moment for America. Needless to say, if the normal police ever pulled something like this — pulling every single person out of an apartment building and handcuffing them to run warrant checks — they would be sued into oblivion.

Yet ICE is going to get away with it entirely.

This is really dangerous territory for Farage. He's being pushed towards crankery by the radicalisation of online support.
Bit of a Reform/Lib Dems row this morning. Nigel Farage asked about Donald Trump's unproven comments on the drug Tylenol and pregnancy on LBC:

"I have no idea ... you know, we were told thalidomide was a very safe drug and it wasn't. Who knows, Nick, I don't know."

I’d add: again, it is not the public who have decided they want mass deportation, or that this should be an acceptable idea within the mainstream. It is our horrifying political/media class, who have roasted each other’s brains on social media. It is *elite radicalisation*, not popular politics.
Just in case people are unclear, putting 'hundreds of thousands' of human beings into camps is fucking evil. Are we all clear on that? You know when we talk about those lines before which we shouldn't draw parallels, this is one of those lines. This is evil, Farage is a fascist. These truths matter.
The Times editorial line: "sieve" the entire population so we can put 100s of thousands of people into camps.

"Removing a city’s worth of people would be an extended exercise. Identity cards would be a must if the population was to be sieved into legitimate and illegitimate camps"

In response, the United States must stop all military assistance to Israel.

The entire UK political/media narrative on welfare is that it is "burgeoning", "a burden" & "unsustainable". But how high is it compared to others? UK welfare at 10.8% of GDP in 2023 (including pensions). Finland spends 25.7% of GDP; France 23.8%: both double the UK.
