Meanwhile, PM Carney has an ‘austerity budget’, which will impact the disadvantaged.
Patriotic Millionaires Canada, which I am a board member of, estimated that a 3% tax on wealth over $100-million could raise $25-billion annually.

Folks, when I was pregnant with my son, I didn't just take Tylenol. I was in enough pain for morphine. I took SSRIs and multiple antibiotics too. We're both still alive and thriving today because of it. RFK and his band of grifters can fuck all the way off to hell.

I had to scramble to find someone to look after my pets, my work had to find someone to cover my scheduled shifts, eventually I drove over with a rented van to move back to Canada. Now imagine this happening on a huge scale.

20 plus years ago, I was denied entry to the US because my TN visa expired the same day and my employer made a small error on the paperwork. Fortunately, I was here to interview for my current job.

Those on an H1B cannot return to the US from tomorrow (Sunday) unless paying $100K. This is an out-of-the blue presidential action. We’ll see software engineers stranded abroad.

One easy to predict outcome: those on US visas will travel less… for work, for conferences etc.

I've been digitizing my grandfather's slides. These are from Dec 1975. Get your flu shot. Don't get rabies. Food safety is important. Still relevant 50 years later. He would be HORRIFIED at RFK.
