Our little Durango is not so little anymore. He is also determined to protect is from the raptor invasion. Who knew all Jurassic Park needed was cats?

And this is the adtl problem with proposed voting ID restrictions. It is bad enough that it takes multiple documents (and fees) to get your Real ID (travel restriction across states) but then you add passport fees. It can cost THOUSANDS and days off work just to obtain a birth certificate.
Government-issued Real IDs and driver’s licenses aren’t proof of citizenship, and most people aren’t walking around with a passport.
Markwayne Mullin defends "show me your papers": "If you're here legally, there's nothing to hide. Most people already are walking around with a government-issued ID, meaning your Real ID or your driver's license. If you go board a train here, you gotta show your ID."

Just me doing my stupid water aerobics for my stupid mental and physical health.
a duck is swimming in the water and saying `` hey , i need some support over here '' .
Alt: A duck is in the water. Its tail is up, its face is underwater, and its feet ate flailing in the air. The caption reads, `` Hey, I need some support over here!"

The last thing this government wants you to do is live a vibrant, loving, meaningful life. So do that, because fuck them.

Kitty, do you remember when Def Leppard was a hard rock band? Pepperidge Farms remembers!

Our little guy is now strong enough and big enough to jump on the counter!

This creates new problems and training issues, but it is a big milestone.

Old enough that you cringe when you see news and say "WTF the world is going to hell." Remember your Qui-Gon Jinn: "Your focus determines your reality." He would have liked Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah. A short read I suggest everyone grab right now.

Tomorrow I cook for the new year. Salted cucumber, rice, pork and cabbage dumplings, and a nice pot of hong shao rou. Might stop at the market to grab some lotus to braise as well.

Paul Newman came to Indianapolis during the month of May for many years because of racing interests. He frequented a Chinese restaurant where my family were regulars. We often saw him there and never said a word. A celebrity has a right to a peaceful meal.
In the early 90s I shared a hotel elevator with Emilio Estevez and I got out on my floor not having exchanged a single word with him
Please quote this from the time you didn't interact with someone famous.

I was visiting with family in New Bedford, Massachusetts, at the same time that Mother Theresa was there visiting her Missionaries of Charity. The bishop held a Mass for her at the church where I was baptized. I didn't go.

I firmly believe that every person on earth should see Grave of the Fireflies. A more brutal and truthful indictment of war and its impact on people I have never seen. I have managed to watch it three times and I daresay I may never make a fourth in spite of the beautiful animation because...ouch.
I'm sure many will agree: Grave of the Fireflies. Beautiful but BRUTAL on the heart.

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar.
