ICE agents have killed another person on the street. For simply bearing witness to their cruelty and lawlessness. For giving a damn about his neighbors.

There is no reforming ICE. It must be abolished.

So to cap their horrible week, Senate Republicans refused a deal to reopen the government in exchange for just helping people with health insurance and now the president wants the Supreme Court to say he doesn’t have to obey the law and feed the hungry.

Amazing.

Every day Republicans keep our government shut down, the pain grows deeper.

Hungry children, empty pantries, elders unable to take their meds, and so much more.

Trump and Republicans must fund SNAP, re-open the government, and address the harm they've caused.

Massachusetts is outdoing other states because they are the first to require insurers to cover the cost of COVID shots and other vaccines recommended by state health officials.

Vaccines are not accessible if they are unaffordable. Every state needs to follow their lead!

A somewhat long, but very important read. This analysis provides important context for why the failure to reign in Israel’s aggression and genocide, threatens international institutions and stability. It threatens our very humanity.

This week, as the number of confirmed measles cases rose to 483, the CDC buried a report that would’ve stressed the importance of getting vaccinated.

The move was “not normal at all,” one agency staff member said.

The CDC Buried a Measles Forecast That Stressed the Need for Vaccinations
The move — along with the CDC’s explanation — is a sign that the nation’s top public health agency may be falling in line under HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a longtime critic of vaccines.
