The thing that really makes Minneapolis different, other than the fact that they straight up murdered someone, is that they've dropped all pretense that this is just about immigration. The state has declared war on its own people, or at least those people who live in cities.

This is right.
We have a fear based, not a love based, politics.
When I was a child in the 1970s and the hippies tried to avoid the violence of Vietnam, those in charge with the guns and power caused them harm. Kent State. Those in charge needed submission, dominance and violence.

That's what enraged him. The populace wasn't fully terrorized and cowed into submission yet, so he acted to make that happen.

I did one last year and liked it so doing another one this year. It takes me months. There must be faster ways to do it. Is that the goal though? No but I might look into it. Bought at the Ft Lauderdale Museum of Science gift shop.

My personal view is that you need to go limp and not resist, as any attempt to fight back will clearly be used as a justification to escalate, even lethally (despite being legally prohibited). Yell your name to bystanders, tell them to record, scream “I am not resisting!” Words are your weapons
So, honest and sincere question, Asha, what would you do if the ICE goons pulled you over and decided to drag you out of your car? Just let them "kidnap" you or fight back because what they are doing is illegal?
