I'm kind of surprised anyone sympathised with her. From the start she went with a self-centred, self-indulgent alienation complex where she scapegoated minorities, buried beneath layers and layers of self-consciousness. Now it's just panto villain shit framed as retaliatory, lmao.
I think it is important to know WI and Girl Guides have not voluntarily moved into excluding trans girls and women they have been pushed into by bigot zealots and the law being an ass

You can't separate this from the Atlantic article claiming their are too many students with disabilities. It's a moral panic meant to push out young people with disabilities from access to resources and to reify ableist bigotry. It's exactly what they did to trans people.

Giving bullies your lunch money means they will come for your lunch money tomorrow. If you make them fight for it today, even if they get it, they may decide tomorrow that it's more trouble than it's worth to mess with you. But if you always back down ... then you always will.
"Respectful and understanding" - perhaps they were. I'm not. I don't think any of us should be. I think orgs that do this need to pay a heavy price for doing it. They're afraid of the power transphobes have: and so we must endeavour to build power of our own and to wield it uncompromisingly.
This part is *infuriating*. This cis woman heard an 80 year old trans woman say, 'This is the only place I've been respected as a woman IN MY LIFE.'

It's sort of amazing how there's so many people credulous to Graham Linehan's shtick and are like "Ah yes, men are men and women are women." and then they awkwardly discover that he's like actually far-gone with being a transphobe.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is so long and huge considering that it really consists of about six levels with change, lol. Those six levels are so sprawling and it's easy to get lost in.

It amazes me whenever people play Perfect Dark/Goldeneye on a control scheme other than 1.2 or anything where all the aiming is controlled with the analog stick, lol.

I think it is super telling that no MPs other than the @greenparty.org.uk is saying that trans people are being targeted and the policy is aimed at them. Just that they are distressed by "stuff"
Imagine being turned away from a bathroom, hospital, or cinema for “not looking female enough”. The leaked EHRC guidance could do just that. Along with my Lib Dem colleagues, I’ve written to the Minister calling for new, inclusive, practical guidance that protects everyone’s rights.
