The British state has used every method they can to isolate and break the spirits of the 8 prisoners who stand with Palestine.

They are now close to dying & the British state doesn't care.

Irish people know hunger strikes. We know British oppression.
We know colonialism.

Stand up, take Action 🇵🇸

All antitrans campaigners are bigots. They swim in a sea of online bigotry in which trans people are routinely treated as less than human. They rejoice in having found a group to victimise that they have so easily stripped of all dignity. They laugh about it between themselves. Publicly. Online.

Govt minister Alex Norris is asked if the govt will take jewellery from people [fleeing war and persecution]. Norris says the govt won't be taking peoples wedding rings but they will seize assets.

Zohran Mamdani polled +40% on men under 30. So we wasted all that time on all those think pieces about how we need a Joe Rogan for the left, when what we actually needed were *policies* for the left.

I hope there will come a day soon where it dawns on someone in Starmer’s team that their strategy of communicating “Nigel Farage is right about everything but please vote for us instead” is fuelling these disastrous figures rather than mitigating them, but today is not that day
Brutal new MRP poll out today showing Reform at 311 and Labour support collapsing.

Worth reading steaming @financialtimes.com column on Starmer by @robertshrimsley.bsky.social

At the core of transmisogyny is, inevitably, misogyny itself. The viciousness with which some people trash trans women for how they look, or their supposed artificiality, or perceived errors in their behaviour, comes from a fundamental loathing of any women who doesn’t conform to their expectations.
Graham Linehan once took issue with a sketch I did and tweeted about me referring to me not by name but only as to who my boyfriend was and called me an NPC ( non player character.) It was misogynistic and his “standing up for women” schtick is baloney.

Just for perspective, a few weeks ago roughly 100,000 turned up for the London Trans+ Pride march. By contrast fewer than 3,000 ACROSS THE WHOLE COUNTRY, have turned up to anti-asylum "protests". Yet we are meant to take the latter as "the voice of the people" and the former as "the minority".

Either all the people in the rooms signing off on proving arms, bombs, materiel and intelligence for this slaughter are rabid ideologues, or hermetically sealed off from the world, or, like you and me, they stood there asking themselves, “Are we really doing this?” And they said and did nothing.

Imagine a world where you have to airdrop aid and rescue starving children from a situation an allied nation has created, whilst simultaneously supplying them arms and twisting yourself in political knots about whether or not to condemn them for it.

You don't actually have to imagine it, kids.

Israel starving people then luring them in with the hope of aid only to massacre them day after day after day is an evil I struggle to comprehend. Meanwhile in the UK any attempt to protest these atrocities is being criminalised. It’s enough to melt your brain.

Their real “crime”? Exposing the UK’s role in arming Israel’s genocide.

This is a dark day for our democracy.

It should not be understressed how significant the vote on proscribing Palestine Action in Westminster is today. The Labour government is preparing to attack the right to protest in a way that will set a historical precedent in the UK - and barely anyone has bothered to show up for the debate.
