Let's just remember that as recently as *February* the CBC poll tracker was suggesting a 99% probability of the Conservatives winning.

This is an extreme upset - thanks in large part to Trump (and a little to Trudeau stepping aside and Carney stepping up).

Leider sind die Mütter von drei Kindern, die aktuell zwischen 60 und 75 sind, kaum in herausgehobenen öffentlichen Positionen und werden dementsprechend nicht medial rezipiert.

So viel muss man journalistisch und politisch schon analysieren, will man Diskurse relevant und nicht verzerrt abdecken.

The federal state of Saxony has just published first *register data* results from the German elections in 2025:

These numbers show that young women overwhelmingly supported the LINKE (37%).

Young men voted more strongly for the AfD (42%), but this is lower than among middle-aged men (50%).

Women's representation has been stagnating around 30% for the past 30 years, after peaking at an all-time high of 36.4% in 2013—only to decline since.

32.4% after the 2025 Bundestag election. This is not progress.
