All this time I've been taking an expensive biologic drug with unpleasant side effects for my autoimmune connective tissue disease, but according to the NIH director I could have just bought some good shoes and walked it off to make myself less vulnerable in the next pandemic. We're so fucked.

My first ND told me back in 2009 when I first got sick that low-normal was too low for B12, especially for someone like me with neurologic symptoms. Glad to see "real" science is catching up!

I think there's also an issue with writer's pay falling, so there's less time/inclination to actually research stuff.
We are losing something by having newsrooms where everyone who has more than a few years’ experience has gotten fired. I don’t fault a young writer for not knowing about things that happened before she was born. But now there are no editors to help give context to these stories, either.
