You can't engineer a fully competitive College Football Playoff. The sport just doesn't work like that.

I am of the view that it is bad for everyone who is not a fan of Alabama, Ohio State, and a small handful of other schools that big name teams get the benefit of the doubt like this AND teams that actually won their conferences are treated like they don’t belong
