내 아버지는 삼풍백화점에서 돌아가실 뻔했다. 무너지기 3시간 전에 그곳에 계시다 나오셨고, 귀가하셨다가 뉴스를 보고 읊조리셨다. '나 아까까지 저기 있었다'.
그 때 그 자리를 추모의 자리로 만들지 못한 이 사회가, 그날 죽어간 이들을 추모할 자리조차 걸어서는 닿을 수 없는 곳에 치워놓은 사회가, 그 자리에 기어이 호화 아파트를 지어올리는 걸 용인한 사회가-
굳이 거기에 기어들어가 산 윤석열 부부의 욕망을 현실에 풀어놓았고, 기어이 이태원을 만들었다.

테토남이 뭔지 몰라서
'뭐지? 보컬로이드 테토 팬 남자라는건가?'
생각했는데, 테스토스테론 관련 이야기인거 같다.
어째서 이게 유행인지는 모르겠지만, 내 작은 머리로 생각해보자면, 알파메일과 같은 남성성 강조 밈의 일부가 아닐까? 상남자를 추구하여서 테토남은 좋고 멋진 남자고 에겐남은 여성적이고 뭐 어쩌고...
그런데 생각해보자. 과연 테토남이 좋을까? 테스토스테론은 DHT로 변해 탈모를 일으킬 뿐이다.
상남자 알파메일의 미래는 반들반들 반짝반짝 민대머리일 확률이 높다는거다.

For Pride, I’m remembering Lucy Hicks Anderson, trans woman who transitioned as a kid in the late 1800s. She was an incredible socialite and cook, so much so that when she was arrested and a banker got her out of jail because they had a party and she was the cook!

For Pride, I’m remembering Lucy Hicks Anderson, trans woman who transitioned as a kid in the late 1800s. She was an incredible socialite and cook, so much so that when she was arrested and a banker got her out of jail because they had a party and she was the cook!
