If you're expecting a high-budget horror movie with plot and friction and dialogue and twists and ghouls and reveals then you're barking up the wrong tree. This is a movie about a dog, a man, and a very unpleasant thing that happens to them.

Lot of questions unanswered but it's. It's a dog movie. Why did X? Dunno man, it's a dog movie. It's a fun dog movie. That's a lie it's a sad dog movie. I think you gotta take a dog movie in context moreso than other movies. I think that's important for dog movies in particular. Someone has to.

Angles, shots, lighting, and sound choices that would be baffling outside of context work great in a movie that is about a dog and also shot for a dog. It's almost all low dog angles. You are in the dirt with the dog. You are the good boy. We are all good boys.

Good, sad, fun, spooky. I'm really glad they were able to get a wide theatrical release for this and I do think it's worth seeing in theaters, especially since there's a little behind the scenes section at the end that really drives home what a good boy Indy is.

Really cute concept, fascinating execution, some fantastic filmmaking decisions though I did feel it ran a BIT long. By nature there's only so much story you can tell when you're constrained to the perspective of a very good boy.

One thing I’d be nice if Schatz and others acknowledged is that even judging their hard right turn on immigration in Spring 2024 on its own terms it failed miserably. In July when Harris took over Trump led on “immigration” by 9pts, by election day he led 13pts. At best it, electorally, did nothing
