Paul Scholes’s best period as a footballer was just after he retired. He went from a very good player who was a good performer (but never United’s best player) to one of the greatest midfielders ever. In a 20 year career, he was in 2 PFA teams of the year; most of his awards came after retirement

Arsene Wenger gave them the most aesthetically pleasing football they’d ever seen in their miserable cunting lives and they called him a peadophile. No one should give a fuck what any other fan thinks.

I think that's pretty much exactly what we needed. A big response to last week, four goals, clean sheet, an impressive scoreline and bar a few mins in the 2nd half we had control of this game.

Good CF goals from Gyokeres and Jesus, Madueke a big impact, Ode better off the bench. Good stuff!

This has been an awful display again. Mikel needs to mix it up, because what we are currently doing it not going to get us there

Woof! That is a very uninspiring hire considering the names linked.

If the Giants get the right coordinators, I fancy us to make a huge leap next season!
A source tells @mikesilver.bsky.social that former Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing is being hired by the Lions.

Adam Schefter was on it.

Stroud doing his best to wrap this up for the Patriots before half time.

Such a shame the Texans don’t have a reliable QB

Expected Goals

Forest 0.34
Arsenal 2.07

We were only ever going to need one goal today but poor finishing continues to be our Achilles heel.

This is astonishing, really

21 per cent of the Premier League’s history has had the City case hanging over it

That extends to 48.4 per cent if you go back to 2009-10 and the first season the charges relate to.

Happens every game and it's a big issue with the 'he needs more service' argument. Not getting yourself on the end of things (or even close) is not the same as not getting any service.

Arsenal have the ball in the box a lot but he's very rarely on the end of anything.
That is twice when Arsenal have played the ball across the box and Gyokeres is quite stationary, and ends up yards away, when he should be right on that.

The 8 game slog from December to now;

Arsenal: 19pts
Villa: 19pts
City: 18pts
Liverpool: 14pts
Chelsea: 7pts

We played Villa twice and Liverpool in that 8 game period and still amassed the most points.
