I haven't finished The War Between the Land and Sea yet. So far it's better than I expected it to be but it still suffers from a lot of writing, pacing, and tone problems. But imo it's biggest issue is it's just close enough to Children of Earth to remind you that you could be watching that instead.

Dawntrail may be my least favorite FFXIV expansion and I may have some serious issues with the game's direction lately but the Arcadion raid series remained a highlight throughout. Great fights, fantastic music, decent story, just a hell of a lot of fun.

I went shopping for a Christmas Tree today. I couldn't find any of the dozen lots that used to pop up. After driving around for two hours, I finally found a single place. It was called "Make Christmas Great Again". I didn't notice this when we pulled in. It wasn't until I walked up did I realize.

Sometimes a game comes out that really resonates with an audience who has been craving that exact thing so they get really excited, talk about it a lot, maybe hyperfixate a bit, but they're having fun and enjoying liking a thing.

This is one of the biggest misunderstandings I've seen a developer have over the core appeal of their own game. I feel so bad for Metroid fans.

I'm glad I finished everything before the nerfs. I feel like to balance they should allow you to select Lost in Fog from NG. Or at least not reduce the enemies in higher difficulties? I know people got sick of them in NG++ but the gauntlet was good the first time through imo.
Thank you to all SILENT HILL f players for your patience. Today we've released a patch that adds a new casual difficulty and addresses feedback we've received, including reducing the amount of forced combat areas, speeding up NG+ runs, and bug fixes such as Sakuko's diary in NG+.
