I would STRENNUOUSLY HASTEN TO ADD that this is not meant to suggest that the GOP or anyone else would be "wrong" to heed that advice generally - they SHOULD have done those things because they are morally correct to do!
The point is that party-wonk "autopsy reports" are BAD at understanding voters

The most well-known "autopsy report" of a losing presidential campaign by a party was the GOP one post-Romney in 2012. It argued the campaign was TOO right-wing, needed to drop culture-war issues, liberalize on gay rights, reach out to minorities.

As a trans person, I find this entire news cycle especially painful amidst ... 8+ years of near nonstop pain ... both in terms of the media' failures and also my society's apathy towards me and my life ...
One of the things that's being lost in this moment: how hurtful it is for students who fall into the groups Kirk denigrated to see him put up on a pedestal. Real mask off moment for the MSM outlets who they're already inclined to distrust.

Anyway, here’s how the “you got caught” transition was supposed to look in Futari Nezumi, but I didn’t have the tokens, time, OR sufficient brain wrinkles to make work in Pico8. And yeah, the palette ramp fades still work (just don’t mind the flashlight beams, my palettes don’t have alpha 😬)
