Only a very specific baking audience is going to care about this but apparently the company that makes Silpat has abruptly shut down. I’m personally buying up ones I can find from secondary retailers cause these things are irreplaceable. I’m bummed.

When I was in hs I wanted to do my req thesis on the new American century bill and the implications of it and the rewrite of it to the patriot act + other bills. I was told it wasn't relevant, and was not an ongoing issue. I am now in my 30s and it's an ongoing issue.
