This isn't a solution.. it's a dystopian signal that housing is being gutted down to push real estate profits. How about we just crash the damn housing market back to where everyone can afford a house and take landlords out of the real estate game? Housing has been artificially inflated for greed!

What's wilder is that at least 2 of your choices are in the same universe (Shining/It) so one could argue he wrote the Great American Horror Universe before stuff like cinematic universes were even a popular thing and he easily beats the old school Universal Monster Cinematic Universe.

I hate being able to predict the future plans of shitty people in politics. People call me a nihilist or a doom sayer making shit up.. then it happens and they never apologize. I lose too many people just like this. This is part of why I quit taking my transplant meds and ended my life.

Thankfully my local independent shop is one of the largest new and used bookstores in my country. It's been a staple of my community since I was a little kid and it will survive an apocalypse it's so popular. You can find mint condition first editions from the 1860's for a bargain bin price.
A reminder to people that independent bookshops that are coming to here from Twitter are taking a financial risk as that social media outlet is a major factor in marketing and getting sales.
