The Israeli right wing would like to annex Judea & Sumeria. The USA would like to make Canada the 51st state. Neither of those opinions, which people in free societies are prone to develop, speaks for the entirety or even the majority of either country.

You either didn't read the last line of my comment, which summarily answers your question, or you'd like me to repeat my answer for some reason, or you're pretending not to have noticed it because you'd like to argue with me.
Had the Arabs and their friends in the countries of the Arab League accepted the state the UN offered to the Arabs of the Gaza Strip, Judea, & Samaria in 1947 instead of unsuccessfully trying instead to eradicate Israel & take the whole piece of land instead, just think of how much blood & animosity could've been saved.

That the Jewish people should have a country of their own, and a right to self-determination, is basic Zionism among the Jews I know, even non-observant ones like myself. Just as the French, &c., have a state of their own, so do the Jews. All the stateless peoples of the world should have countries.

It's very obvious that if the National Guard & the Military were needed in the places the president's trying to send them, there would be all kinds of news stories out of those places about rebellions & violence that can only be dealt with that way, but the crickets have the field....
