Please watch PM Carney's speech. Powerful, and in my view as a political scholar, 100% accurate. We must stop living within the lie.

The European Parliament suspended the approval of a key US trade deal agreed in July in protest against Trump's demand to take over Greenland. Shortly afterward, Trump backed down.

This proves that the best way to handle bullies like Trump is to stand up to them.

ICE Agents are rewarded on the basis of people taken; not people deported. They're just rounding up people of colour at the moment, not looking for the criminal element amongst people illegally in the country. This terrorism is financially incentivised by the federal government.

I suspect ICE came down on Minneapolis because they thought it would be easy to provoke rioting there & declare martial law.

That has not proved to be the case.

ICE is further escalating now as a last ditch effort to incite civil unrest.

Hang on, Minneapolis.
It’s always darkest before the dawn.

I wonder if this makes anyone think back to when this ICE treatment on white people today was common for police to do to blacks? The police who treated blacks this way have become ICE employees. When you don’t fight for all, they only come for you next.

Trump:

"NATO has treated the United States very badly. We've never asked for anything. We've never got anything."

Tell that to the families of 850 soldiers from 19 non-US NATO countries who died fighting to defend the United States in Afghanistan - the only occasion Article 5 was ever triggered.

Trump shenanigans contributing to Iceland decision to hold a referendum on joining the European Union.
It will be the 11th non-EU country to apply to join.
If this continues, Britain will be almost alone in Europe in being outside the EU, isolated, poorer and weaker.

Which of us can honestly say we haven't broken rules 17 times covering payments of one third of a million pounds? But it's ok, he says it was someone else's fault (presumably an immigrant as he blames them for everything else), he didn't mean to, is sorry & won't do it again. And would he lie to us?
