When the dust settles, and if universities have meaningfully survived, it will be worth asking how institutions usually so resistant to thoroughgoing change chose to leap with both feet into an untested technology they didn't understand and didn't know how to use.
Universities doubling down as public sentiment shifts away from dependence upon AI. This is the problem with the buy-in.

The logic is pretty obvious here. Presidents can’t declare war so anything the president does without Congress can’t be a war. It’s not an assessment of what’s happening; it’s an excuse.

Everything is terrible and yet tonight was a gift. At one time in my home, gathered for a meal. Us, our two sons, and their wonderful girlfriends. Truly a blessing.

As a former Fulbright Scholar (in Chile), I personally understand how terrifying this is. U.S. citizens around the world & foreign nationals in the U.S. — all Fulbright Scholars — have now had their incomes eliminated & are stranded.

The quote @atrupar.com pulled isn't even the worst part of this. Veterans...how many of you "are not willing to come to work"? As a daughter and granddaughter of Vietnam and WWII veterans, this is so offensive.
