I will sell this entire country up the river before I vote for an anti trans politician
Prepare yourself for a Dem nominee (him or somebody else) with whom you don’t agree on everything (Gaza, trans issues, death penalty). You have three years to get the fuck over it because anyone the Dems offer up is better than this or something like this.
Ok, you know why I don’t like Gavin Newsom? You know how in While You Were Sleeping, Peter Gallagher’s family all talks about how he rescued a nest of baby birds as a kid, and later he admits he knocked their nest out of the tree with a rock, then made sure everyone saw him rescue it?

That’s Gavin.
I love seeing trans men get top surgery and immediately proceed to working up massive pecs

Stitches breaking down and coming out: fantastic. Need more sooner. Free me

Feeling stitches inside me go "snap": cursed. Should never happen. Deeply concerning

For it to officially count as worship, he has to give you 10% of his income

Otherwise it's just sparkling admiration

Changing my sex was the greatest thing I ever did for myself

This latest step was *such* a good idea omfg. All doubts melted. Go me. Wish I'd done it sooner

Deeply unfair and transphobic that sensation starts coming back *before* the stitches dissolve and fall out

No one deserves to be this pokey

epic will pay for every game that gets claimed this way so yes, you are still giving money to rowling (and by extension an international campaign against trans people) by claiming this

there are other, better franchises - let this one go

Seeing a visible, quantifiable representation of your body relaxing is really cool
I will not elaborate

Shedding your full skin in one go has got to feel *so* good

Unless you're an old crab in which case, oops fuck

Tomorrow I start stepping into the more long term recovery side of this

Just had my last supper (before surgery)

In a couple days my dick will be betrayed and executed, only to rise from its burial shroud transformed

Fun historical fact: Richard the Lionheart was French and Gay.

No joke here, actually, he literally was. He didn't even speak English and only went to England like once, because he was too busy in France having gay sex with French kings.

Restaurants, in the sense of places with table service, are routinely worse than "joints" where you order at a counter and handle your own table

“damn, you live like this?” but it’s when i see that your home is artificially decorated to fit what you hope others will see as adult and stylish rather than filled with things that bring you joy

This explains so much. Every job I've had, I've had coworkers who would not respond to the words I had written when I would email them, and would insist on a meeting or a call. I always thought it was something to do with how I typed.

*Many of your engineers are illiterate*
ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy
