So thanks to Mike Olley in his always excellent Substack who describes 'WTMG' as "sharp, current and ideal for someone who cares about the game beyond the scoreline."

I’ve been watching Prisoner 951. Incredibly powerful, brilliantly done. A tribute to the incredible fortitude of Nazanin, her family, and the women in Evin prison.
UK politicians, on the other hand, were exposed as lying, devious, self-serving cowards. Elwood, Johnson, Truss, Cleverly: shame on you.

When Rishi Sunak made the Vaccine deal with Moderna as Chancellor, he had up to £530m invested in Moderna.

Now Michelle Mone is desperately bringing it up.

Like if you want Mone on trial.
RT if you want them both facing the music.

Bizarre, that this *Labour* government doesn’t try to extract every ounce of political capital from it.
What are they scared of? Do they have their own skeletons?
I’d have thought nothing cuts more against our precious British values than selling out your country for Russian bribes…

And yet Reform, the right‑wing press, and all those self‑styled guardians of these values have nothing to say

…funny that.

The BBC reports there is ‘no evidence’ of Gill’s best mate Farage being involved….
If it was anyone else, it would be ‘questions are still being asked,’ or some such, but not for our Nige.

Left wing bias, my arse.

Today is not the day to argue "oh so you want Reform to win then" as an argument for Labour's indefensible and inhumane anti-asylum policies. At least be honest and own that you're defending racist policies promoted with genuinely far right talking points. Don't try and pretend this is "progressive"

The worst you can accuse Panorama of doing is making a misleading edit – and I’d dispute that! – to make *a point that was true*.

The programme aired without anyone seeing any issues with the edit. It was on iPlayer for a year without complaints. Donald Trump *did* incite Jan 6th.
Tory culture spox demanding the BBC "grovel" to Trump is baffling. Who is this supposed to chime with?

Just a bizarre line that no one who doesn't use X would ever think.

A foreign government gloating over its influence over our national broadcaster. The Telegraph, BoJo, Farage and all those involved in this scandal claim to be patriots when they are nothing more than shills for Washington. All that stuff about sovereignty during Brexit was just BS, wasn’t it?
November 9, 2025 at 10:25 PM
It seems very ironic that the right-wing director of the BBC should be unseated by right-wing outrage over the Beeb’s coverage of Trump’s attempt at a right-wing coup, almost five years ago.

What I think this demonstrates is 3 things (1) This mass deportation policy is wildly at odds with public opinion in general, and with opinion of many sensible Tory voters, members & MPs (2) Many ppl defending the policy didn't know what was in it (3) Informing and pressuring them therefore works
Are the Tories now rowing back on ILR?

Last week Badenoch's spokesman said Katie Lam's comments were "broadly in line" with the party's stance

Now a party spokesperson says it's “subject to an ongoing internal review” following a widespread backlash

I am so tired of 24 hour news about small boats. I simply don’t care how many migrants arrive in the UK any more. No matter how many, they’ll never be as big a threat to British values, our way of life, or indeed women‘s safety, as the bigots who make yelling about migrants their entire personality.

There is no silver bullet to reducing the number of people stuck in hotels, but by fast tracking claims and providing asylum for those from high grant rate countries, providing those seeking asylum with the right to work, and investing in community schemes this government could make a difference.
