When you tell someone you are considering buying something in the future if the thing you have doesn’t work on a task you were considering doing and it turns into a whole ordeal where they must know where your every cent is going because you must be able to buy that thing as they can.

Real life is not like science fiction, where the power usage required for processing rarely, if ever, factors into the plot.
I still care very much about the ethics of AI usage but I really think its environmental and infrastructural impact desperately needs more exposure.

Make sure if you swap to a custom domain, that you create a placeholder account for your bsky.social handle as well, so no one else can snag it <3
I've noticed that as soon as you set a custom domain, the bsky.social username gets released, so someone else could now take it. Any reason you can't keep that username?
