Mostly agreed -- except if Trump was "an instrument of the status quo, the situation wouldn't be nearly as dire.

Trump's no instrument of status quo, but of radical interests (a coalition of religious fundamentalists, ultra-wealthy, and racists) who want to replace democracy with their own power.

More likely 🇺🇸🙄

Divided we fall.
Broke we fall.

Either way, 🇺🇸 waltzes in & takes our resources, making us a vassal state. 🇨🇦s need to stop falling for these divisive trolls /propaganda campaigns to destroy us. 🫩

Calling an unnecessary election will cost you points.
NDP may regain party status at best. But at cost of bringing PP to power.
And nobody here wants that!

Maple MAGA made his bed. If some Cons are finally waking up to the fact that he's a loser and his rhetoric is nothing more than empty populist bunk, then I'm grateful for that.
Also, the last thing we need right now is another election! Oh, and the Libs'd win even more seats than before.

just like Trump, Poilievre is a Neanderthal primitive, and just like Trump he's facing an extinction event because he's too needy like a little baby and whiny, demanding "obedience", frankly people in Canada are sick and tired of his "divisive" politics imported from USA.

Well, PM Carney isn't a lifelong politician and look at the great job he is doing. At the very least they should have some work experience in the real world, a job outside of politics. po I LIE vre has lived off taxpayers for over 20 yrs without one accomplishment. Its time for him to go.

Gerald Kersh's novel The secret masters (1953) has to do with a plot by a cabal of billionaires to melt the ice caps and flood all the lower elevations while they buy up high-altitude real estate on which they build fortresses from which they will rule what is left of the world. Seems apt today.

Now that Amazon has total creative control over the James Bond movie franchise I imagine the next Bond super-villain we'll see is some guy who is trying to organize a labor union at an Amazon fulfillment center.
