At some point everybody’s gonna realize it’s all Stephen Miller
Extremely dark that the entire U.S. government is lying down to be steamrolled by something called the Trump agenda for fear of some force called "Donald Trump" while the actual Donald Trump has no idea what's happening
Helluva @notusreports.bsky.social scoop showing that Trump has no idea what's in his budget bill. Seems like something that ought to get a lot more attention.

Also this: a republican house member actually admits that they are attacking medicaid. Yes, they are.

You hear this a lot on the left but it isn't true. USAID did not "fail to tell its story to Americans," the right targeted the agency with lies and misinformation.

Ultimately this narrative turns conservative attacks into even more calls for the left to reform.

Much as I would not dare to predict the consequences of this war, I do think we can summarize it thusly so far:

A smart and evil man manipulated a stupid and evil man into a war against a fanatical and evil regime.

The repression of trans people is not, by and large, a grassroots outpouring of hatred from the American people. It's something that's been carefully planted and tended over years by a handful of media people and their pet reporters.
Heightened Scrutiny, a very good doc about the Supreme Court case that was just ruled on, does an impeccable and infuriating job laying out just how culpable the NYT and Atlantic are for the nation’s transphobia www.avclub.com/sundance-202...

The insight here is that "the muscle you exercise gets stronger". So imagining there's a "real" person underneath the lies and cruelty is a vain hope. Don't wait for a better JD Vance to emerge. He choked that dude out.

The @nytimes.com is set to launch a podcast about transgender healthcare today. The NYT has a long pattern of biased, inaccurate trans coverage, and ignoring critiques of these coverage failures. Learn more about the critiques here and below.

The New York Times’ coverage of transgender people and issues has been critiqued for years by trans people, the broader LGBTQ community, and allies. Now instead of directly addressing the critiques, m...

Oh I throw mud at the men too. I am equal opportunity hating on fake space tourism while people on earth have unmet material needs because of the very people who use obscene wealth to leave the planet.
It is very much really space. It's suborbital, but they will leave the atmosphere which means they will be in space.

I'm not a fan of space tourism, but I'm not fan of throwing mud at women for doing something men do regularly either.
