I really dislike this new trend of attacking politicians if they don’t attend memorial events, by claiming it shows they don’t care about your community, and also booing them when they do attend, because how dare they show their face in your community.

Gen. George Washington wrote two rule books on military behavior stressing the need for “decency” and humane treatment of captives and civilians. Evidently Army National Guard Maj. Hegseth finds Washington too woke.
At the same event, Hegseth said "We also don't fight with stupid rules of engagement. We untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies of our country."
