I forget who I was talking to about food pantries but if you live in 60613, 60625, 60640, 60645, or 60660 St. Thomas of Canterbury IS that girl - Mondays and Thursdays 9-11:30am (if you have SNAP you are within the income limit) and as long as you sign in by 11:30 you will be given food!

With SNAP/EBT cuts looming I highly recommend downloading this app! Basically restaurants and other food businesses will have available bags of random food they don’t wanna waste for ppl to buy for hella cheap! This has saved me sooooo many times when I only have $5 and need some food.

People are guarding churches and patrolling alleyways. Ran into Alderperson Hadden. First timers tell us they're primed and ready to use their whistles.

The Northwest Side Rapid Response Team posted this community alert a short while ago. It describes how a resident in Albany Park was lured by a phone call that indicated they had won a prize. Another was lured to an address to pick up scrap metal. Both were detained by ICE upon arrival.

Anyway I just paid a $36 uber to get to work on time since I overslept
