yeah, we've crossed some kind of disturbing Rubicon in the last few months
My mom’s plumber just recommended she use Copilot to search her inbox for the invoice he’d just sent her from his phone. She was having trouble finding it. When plumbers are recommending Copilot, I find myself rethinking my impressions of where the real world is with AI.

An argument I've seen against unionization is that workers demanding better from employers will only incentivize bosses to replace them with AI. There is nothing you can give to or give-up for a growth-obsessed CEO that would discourage them from trying this regardless. Fight for what's yours now.
