Having worked for the USPS:
1.) I don't even believe that's the real number. Republicans love artificially inflating the USPS's expenses.
2.) Oh no. It costs $30 per person to have a functioning postal service. Almost like some sort of service provided socially.

I hate American business logic.

How to Get Rid of "Citizens United"
We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way.

Gamers have such incredibly unreasonable demands of indies it's sort of a wonder anything gets made at all.

I could never fault an indie dev for just wanting to withdraw entirely from public from what are deeply wild, unfair or aggressive demands on their passion projects from 'gamers'.

In the 4.5-mile bike ride to pick up my kids from school, I found the following in painted bike lanes: at least 6 trash bins, a parked car, a parked firefighter truck (likely lunch break), and a parked city maintenance vehicle. This is unacceptable, and another reason why paint is not infrastructure

Good question.

Not least, the companies will have a huge debt to pay off.
So they'll have to repurpose it somehow. I wonder what the new purpose will be?

I am so cynical about trade with the US that I suspect today's sidebar between Sheinbaum, Carney and Trump was so Trump could inform them he's killing CUSMA instead of renegotiating.

I've been saying forever that it's a dead deal. Trump doesn't believe in free trade.

I still think a lot about the fact that Gamergate did essentially win. Not that it made the culture significantly more misogynistic or anything, but it succeeded in making a lot of the people who played games eventually casually much more anti-intellectual and incurious.
